Biografía
Leon Stanisław Niemczyk (15 de diciembre de 1923 - 29 de noviembre de 2006) fue un actor polaco.Niemczyk se convirtió en una estrella líder de la taquilla a lo largo de la década de 1960, conocida por serios dramas, incluyendo dramas históricos y películas de guerra.Apareció en más de 500 películas y programas de televisión en el curso de su carrera.Sus roles más memorables fueron Fulko de Lorche en The Teutonic Knights de Aleksander Ford, Andrzej en Roman Polanski's Knife in the Water y Jerzy en Jerzy Kawalerowicz's Night Train.Niemczyk se convirtió en una estrella internacional a través de la recepción positiva por su papel principal en Knife in the Water (1962), ganando la primera nominación del cine polaco para el Premio de la Academia de Mejor Película Extranjera. 3er Ejército. Murió de cáncer.
