For love and honor (For Love and Honor) is an American television series composed of 12 episodes and broadcasted for the first time in the USA in September 1983. The author was Jeff Spielman, the director of Gary Nelson. The series is inspired by the film Official and Gentile and the stories are set in a military base of airborne artillery located in California. The protagonists are Captain Wiecek and Sergeant Allard, in contrast to each other. Other prominent characters are: Captain Engel, a female medical officer who loves Sergeant Allard; Sergeant Bell, a veteran of the Vietnam War; Pavlik, a female corporal; Chris, a female soldier who engages in a relationship with Phyllis, the wife of Captain Wiecek neglected by her husband. The series was not very successful and was interrupted after the 12th episode. In Italy the series arrived in the autumn of 1985.
