The ensemble cast includes Kaushik Babu in the title role of Adi Shankaracharya, Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu, Suman, Srihari and Sai Kumar. Some of Chiranjeevi's scenes from Sri Manjunatha (2001) were reused in the film.
