Udayakumar, starring Vijayakanth, Sukanya, Manorama, Salim Ghouse, Sathyapriya, Goundamani, Senthil and Vadivelu. It was released on 15 January 1992, during Pongal. The film was remade in Telugu as Chinarayudu, and in Kannada as Chikkejamanru.
