Ultimate Avengers 2 (Ultimate Avengers 2: Rise of the Panther), best known as Ultimate Avengers 2 - The Black Panther Ascent, is a 2006 film directed by Will Meugnit and Dick Sebast. It is the second direct-to-video animation film of the Marvel Animated Features series, the result of a joint venture between Marvel Studios and Lions Gate Entertainment, and sequel to Ultimate Avengers (2006). The feature film is freely inspired by the movie series Ultimates by Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch. The animation was made by the South Korean studio Dong Woo Animation. The film was released in the United States on August 8, 2006, generating a profit of about $7.9 million.
