The son of a nobleman is in Marseilles in questionable company until he is involved in a murder affair and deported. His jealous brother deceives the discovery of the real murderer until the innocent convicted man succeeds in fleeing and on the same day the perpetrator is betrayed by his lover. The rehabilitated man now marries the woman for whom his father had taken over the guardianship.
