Plot.

Maya is the spoiled child of a rich man. Along with her friends she decides to make fun of Dr. Srinivas. The doctor in turn insults her by saying that she is a fatherless child. Maya discovers that her father has adopted her when she was a baby and that her biological mother is the famous singer K. S Vasundhara Devi. She tries everything to make her mother accept her.

Ente Sooryaputhrikku (transl. For my Helio-daughter) is a 1991 Indian Malayalam-language drama film written and directed by Fazil. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Amala, and Srividya. It was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Karpoora Mullai, with Raja replacing Gopi. The film's music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
