Rio Grande do Sul, 18th century. Amid the arduous work on earth aimed at the prosperity of the farm and the constant attacks of bandits that the militias cannot control, a girl matures in the perks of life. She becomes pregnant with a 'bugre', who is killed by the dishonored family and then manages to escape, together with the little son, a bloody massacre that victimizes all her relatives.
