Plot.
Rich L.A. party brat Tim spins into a cycle of despair after his parents divorce, and trying to fill the void with drugs and trouble only buys him a ticket to an asylum. But with the help of a psychiatrist who has taken an interest in him, will Tim try to pull himself out of the muck of teenage rebellion and ennui?

Lost Angels (also known as The Road Home) is a 1989 independent film directed by Hugh Hudson and written by Michael Weller (of Ragtime and Hair fame). It stars Donald Sutherland and Adam Horovitz. It was filmed in and around San Antonio, Texas (despite being set in Los Angeles). The film was entered into the 1989 Cannes Film Festival.
