The graphic artist Valentin falls in love with a young woman who is in vain looking for a job. The lady is anything but destitute, but on the contrary the daughter of Valentin's chief boss. However, since Valentin doesn't know the wealth of his loved ones at all, he is more and more surprised by the countless luxury items he finds with her.
