Wiki.
The Judge is an Italian-French western directed by Jean Girault and Federico Chentrens, released in 1971.This is a parodic western and the first film adaptation of an album by Lucky Luke, Le Juge, while the first animated adaptation, Daisy Town, released a little later that year, was based on an original story.Jean Girault concentrates the story around Judge Roy Bean, incarnated by Pierre Perret and Black Bird played by Robert Hossein. He chooses to make the character of Lucky Luke disappear, which he replaces with the secondary character of Buck Carson, incarnated by Angelo Infanti. Outside animation, it is only in 1991 that the character of Lucky Luke is incarnated for the first time at the cinema, by Terence Hill, in the film he made himself, Lucky Luke.
