Match or "The Game" is a 2012 Russian historical and dramatic film directed by Andrey Malyukov. The film is based on the one known as the Death Party that faced the Soviet team of the FC Start (a group of retired players from Kiev's Dinamo and Lokomotiv) against a German combo made up of members of the Luftwaffe.The film's debut was scheduled for April 26, 2012. However, such production raised controversy in Ukraine (host country the 2012 Euro Cup), so the government requested that its debut in the country be delayed until the end of the championship for fear of altercation.
