William McCall was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 190 films. He was born in Delavan, Illinois, and died in Hollywood, California. He was credited as Billy McCall during his early film activity, and he performed in a number of farces, including Huns and Hyphens and Frauds and Frenzies. He acted in serials and Westerns. The introduction of sound ended his career in 1937.
