Baby John is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Kalees that serves as a remake of Atlee's 2016 Tamil film Theri. The film stars Varun Dhawan in the title role, alongside Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff, and is produced under Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios and A for Apple Productions.
The film was announced in July 2023 with the working title VD18 and got its official title in February 2024. Principal photography began in August 2023 and ended in April 2024, held in Mumbai and Kerala. The music was composed by Thaman S, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Ruben and Kiran Koushik. Baby John is scheduled for released on 25 December 2024.
