Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers - Ignition (in Brazil, Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers - Ignition) is an American animated film produced by the Canadian company Mainframe Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros. Television, being the first of the series Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers, composed of four longs. Launched on television, Ignition was originally shown by Cartoon Network on January 8, 2005. Its plot passes three years after Hot Wheels: World Race, miniseries that commemorates the 35 years of the brand's miniature Hot Wheels car brand.On March 22, 2005, the film was released on DVD by Warner Home Video, which also released a VHS version of the long. Prior to this, Ignition was divided into three episodes of about twenty minutes, each of which were presented separately in DVDs that were accompanied by HyperPod toys.
