James Robert McMahon Jr. (born August 21, 1959) is an American former football player. He played college football at Brigham Young University, and later in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, and Green Bay Packers. He won two Super Bowl titles, the first with the Bears in Super Bowl XX where he was the starting quarterback. McMahon was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1998. Both Super Bowls were in New Orleans and against the New England Patriots. McMahon won two Super Bowl rings with the New Orleans Saints. He also won a Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers.
