Biography
David W. Rintels (born June 25, 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts, pseudonym: Pat Riddle) is an American playwright, screenwriter, and television producer. Rintels studied American history at Harvard University. From 1959 to 1961 he worked as a journalist for Boston Herald, radio station WVOX-Radio Rochelle in New York and NBC. Since 1960 he has been writing scripts for series and television films. His one-person piece Clarence Darrow about the lawyer and civil rights activist Clarence Darrow was also played on German-language stages under the title In Doubt for the defendant.
