Biography
George Cottle is a highly competent second unit director and stunt coordinator who has gained recognition in the business for his work on successful films such as Barbie (2023), Oppenheimer (2023), and Tenet (2020). Cottle made a seamless move from the stunt industry to directing, lending his distinct viewpoint and experience to some of the most elaborate action scenes in Hollywood.
He started his career in the stunt profession in the middle of the 1990s, and in 1997 he was formally included to the British Stunt Register. His breakthrough performance was with Plunkett & Macleane in 1999, when he pulled off a risky stunt involving a blazing carriage drawn by horses.
