Biography
Director, documentary filmmaker and editor, he has dedicated his life to documenting Mexico's social movements in film since 1968. From 1971 to 2001, when he retired, he was a professor of the Editing Workshop at the Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos. In 1976 he won the Ariel Award for Best Editing for Actas de Marusia and in 1988 he won the Ariel Award for Best Editing for Ulama, el juego de la vida y la muerte.
