Plot.
Based on the run of Valentín de la Sierra, one of the revolutionary leaders who forged the armed struggle in the history of Mexico. The abuses of the Porfirist government against the humble people, cause Valentín to lead an armed uprising of great proportions.

Valentín de la Sierra is a 1968 Mexican film directed by René Cardona and starring Antonio Aguilar. The film is inspired by the corrido of the same name, a dramatization of the death of Cristero rebel Valentín Ávila Ramírez. The setting of the film was changed to the earlier Mexican Revolution.
