Biography
Tassadit Mandi is a Franco-Algerian actress, born in Aguni-Hmed, a village called L-Erc des Ait Yenni (wilaya de Tizi Ouzou, Kabylie). After obtaining her bachelor's degree, she entered the Normal School of Ben Aknoun and graduated as a teacher. She became a professor at Larbi-Mezani College in Tawrirt-Mimum, in the commune of Benni Yenni.At the time of her mother's death in the early 1970s, when she was 20 years old, she came to live in France with her father in Colombes. She enrolled in modern letters at the Sorbonne. She obtained a master's degree there and taught French to foreigners.She played at the theatre in Kabbyle, in memory of her grandmother, in the troupe led by Mohya, who ascended Molière and Brecht in that language, at the headquarters of the current ACB in Ménilmontant (Paris).
