Biography
Timothy "Tim" Alverson (* 1964 in Seattle, Washington) is an American film editor who was mainly involved in the production of horror films. Alverson began his career in the mid-1980s in various film and television productions as a editing assistant. Thus he worked on the production of films such as Karate Kid II – Decision in Okinawa (1986), The Princes of Darkness (1987), Flashback (1990), Turtles II – The Mystery of Ooze (1991), Operation: Broken Arrow (1996), Der Geist und die Dunkel (1996), Con Air (1997) and I know what you did last summer (1997) with him. In 1999 he and Steve Mirkovich performed the science fiction thriller The Astronaut – The Evil has a new face. Both put their collaboration on movies like D-Tox – In the Eye of Fear (2000), Strange Hearts (2002) and The Curse of Darkness Falls (2003).
