Plot.

Good News (Italian: Buone notizie) is a 1979 Italian satirical comedy film written and directed by Elio Petri and starring Giancarlo Giannini. It is the last film of Petri.In the film, a man is contacted by an old friend whose life is supposedly threatened by assassins. He has an erotic encounter with his friend's wife, shortly before the man's death. At the friend's funeral, the man learn's about the widow's pregnancy.
