Plot.

Mickey plays piano in the Klondike Bar. He rescues a depressed, half-frozen Minnie. Pegleg Pierre comes storming in and steals her away, after a gun battle. A dogsled chase follows, with Pluto pulling Mickey's sled. There's a battle at Pete's cabin that features a sequence with Pete and Mickey wearing bedsprings and bouncing. Meanwhile, Pluto, chasing a rabbit, makes a giant snowball that sends the cabin downhill and eventually traps Pete.

The boy of the Klondike (The Klondike Kid) is a 1932 film directed by Wilfred Jackson. It is an animated short film of the series Mickey Mouse, produced by Walt Disney Productions and released in the United States on November 12, 1932, distributed by the United Artists. In short the characters play an alternative version.The single short film was not doubled in Italian. The film was however inserted, without titles of head and tail and colored to the computer, in the special in VHS The masterpieces of Minni, released in March 2000. On that occasion Pierre, Topolino and Minni were doubled respectively by Massimo Corvo, Alessandro Quarta and Paola Valentini, and Pierre was simply named Peter.
