Plot.
Scicli, Sicilia, 2009. A municipal ordinance has banned stray dogs from the country, but a golden retriever challenges the order and begins to frequent the local streets, especially fonding himself of a ten-year-old child, Meno, son of Mayor Antonio Bianco. Little by little Italo, as the dog will be nicknamed, will enter to be part of the life of the community, accompanying the tourists visiting, attending church at the Mass and playing with the children of the country. His presence will soften the lives of everyone and will be cupid between the father of Meno, remaining widow, and the local mistress, as well as between Meno and his playmate.
