Plot.

Diane Arbus is a housewife and mother who works as an assistant to her husband who is a photographer. She feels uncomfortable because she is respected. One night, a new neighbor catches Diane's eye, and the enigmatic man encourages her to set forth on the path to discovering her own artistic talent.

It stars Nicole Kidman as iconic American photographer Diane Arbus, who was known for her strange, disturbing images, and also features Robert Downey Jr. and Ty Burrell. As the title implies, the film is largely fictional.
