After Suneo bragged about having a ranch, Nobita was pressured to say yes. There are a number of useless planets in the belt between Mars and Jupiter. Nobita read the last lottery number to the group when they came to see the ranch. When Nobita's toy horse pranced around because of the wind-up life gizmo, Suneo and the others were interested in letting their toys live in the area. They decided to make their own clockwork city.

Doraemon: Nobita and the Spiral City (ドラえもん のび太のねじ巻き都市 (シティー)冒険記, Doraemon Nobita no Nejimaki Shitī Bōkenki), also known as Doraemon and the Spiral City, is a feature-length Doraemon film which premiered in Japan on 8 March 1997, based on the 17th volume of the same name of the Doraemon Long Stories series. It was the last Doraemon film to be supervised by Hiroshi Fujimoto, due to his death. It's the 18th Doraemon film. In India, it was released on July 26, 2020.
