Plot.

Two 19 year old girls were brutally murdered. The bodies were abandoned and could not be found anywhere inside the warehouse scattered with blood. The only suspect, was their friend. He was drunk on the night of the incident. He doesn’t recall a single memory. No memories of committing a murder. No memories of not committing a murder either. The boy had become a young adult by the time he was released from prison in 11 years. He wished to pursue a quiet life… But another murder flips the village. A white bone carcass has been discovered. The real devil is hiding somewhere within the seemingly peaceful village. Who’s the real devil?

Black Out (Korean: 백설공주에게 죽음을) is a 2024 South Korean television series written by Seo Joo-yeon, directed by Byun Young-joo, and starring Byun Yo-han, Ko Jun, Go Bo-gyeol, and Kim Bo-ra. Based on the German novel Snow White Must Die by Nele Neuhaus, it depicts a series of incidents that occur in a closed-off village and the ugly nature of the hidden inner self of humans. It aired on MBC TV from August 16, to October 4, 2024, every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 (KST). It is also available for streaming on local OTT platforms, Wavve and Coupang Play.

Black Out was first premiered in the Rendez-Vous section of the 2024 Canneseries, where it received attention for its dense story, excellent directing, and solid acting skills.
