Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (transl. This is love) is an Indian romantic drama TV series that aired from December 3, 2013 to December 18, 2019 on Star Plus. Produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms, it starred Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel as Ishita Iyer and Raman Bhalla. The story was initially based on Manju Kapur's 2011 novel Custody, with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein continuing beyond Custody's story in later episodes.

The story follows Punjabi CEO Raman Kumar Bhalla and his next-door neighbour, Dr. Ishita Iyer, a pediatric dentist who adores children but cannot conceive due to a medical issue. Raman and Ishita clash due to their inflated egos. Raman's troubled past has made him lose faith in love and relationships, whereas Ishita maintains an optimistic outlook on life. Both hold firm convictions and are reluctant to compromise easily. Despite their opposing temperaments, they begin to fall in love as Raman's perception of the world gradually transforms through Ishita, and Ishita begins to glimpse the real Raman. They bond over a shared love of Raman's child, Ruhi.
