Wiki.
FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (lit. 'FPJ's The Provincial Man'; abbreviated as FPJAP and internationally known as Brothers) is a 2015 Philippine action drama television series produced by ABS-CBN Studios, replacing Nathaniel. Based on the 1996 film of the same title starring Fernando Poe Jr., the series stars a large ensemble cast that is top-billed by Coco Martin. First aired on September 28, 2015, it became the longest-running ABS-CBN drama series on Philippine television and in the 21st century (excluding drama anthologies such as Lovingly Yours, Helen, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Maynila, and Magpakailanman), with 1,696 episodes aired until the series finale on August 12, 2022. It was replaced by Mars Ravelo's Darna in its timeslot.
Ang Probinsyano premiered on ABS-CBN where it aired until March 13, 2020, when the network was halted due to the non-renewal of its broadcast franchise. New episodes have aired on the Kapamilya Channel, a pay network set up by ABS-CBN Corporation with a simulcast on the broadcaster's other networks Cine Mo! and Jeepney TV (aired from seasons 1 to 4 as FPJ's Ang Probinsyano: Ang Simula.). A2Z and TV5 have also received rights to broadcast Ang Probinsyano through the partnership of the networks' firms with ABS-CBN. The series is also streamed online via iWantTFC, TFC IPTV, and Kapamilya Online Live. It is also aired internationally through The Filipino Channel on cable and satellite.
