Hermetico – The Invisible Region (original title: The Fiction Makers) is a 1968 British television film directed by Roy Ward Baker. Roger Moore plays the lead role of Simon Templar. The film premiered as a two-parter of the television series Simon Templar on 8 and 15 December 1968 on the British television station ATV (Associated TeleVision). On July 1, 1977, he appeared as a feature film in the German cinemas. The film is based on a novel by Leslie Charteris. Following Moore's success with the television series Simon Templar in Germany, the film was also evaluated there as Simon Templar – The Invisible Region.
