Plot.
Inderjit Bansal comes from a wealthy family. His father and mother, Chandrika, would like him to get married and settle down,but he goes to another city to do his MBA and stays with friends. During this time, he meets Pallavi Sinh (Jyothika) and they fall in love. She reciprocates his feelings, but trouble comes in the form of her tyrannical trio of brothers

Doli Saja Ke Rakhna (transl. "Keep the palanquin decorated and be ready") is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language romance film directed by Priyadarshan, with Akshaye Khanna and Jyothika in lead roles. The plot of the movie is adapted from the Malayalam film Aniyathipraavu (1997). The music was composed by A. R. Rahman. This is Jyothika's career debut film and so far, the only Hindi film that she has acted in as her subsequent films were all Tamil films.
