Alfons Åberg is an animated series of Swedish television, directed by Per Åhlin on a screenplay by Gunilla Bergström, adapted from his own books of the same name.The soundtrack is composed by Georg Riedel and the narration is made by Björn Gustafsson. The series is produced by the studio Åhlin Penn Film in collaboration with the Swedish Institute for Cinema and Scandinavian Broadcasters SVT, NRK, YLE and DR. The series is composed of four seasons, with a total of 16 episodes of 10 minutes. All episodes were broadcast on the SVT1 channel of the national television, and were distributed in film, VHS and DVD format.
