Plot.
During World War II, a Navy officer commands a pink sub with a crew of five rescued Army nurses and a combat-phobic supply officer in this series based on the 1959 movie starring Cary Grant and Tony Curtis. Curtis's daughter Jamie Lee played one of the nurses (her first recurring role on network TV).

Operation Petticoat is an American sitcom that was based on the 1959 film by the same name. It was broadcast on ABC for two seasons, from September 17, 1977, until October 16, 1978.
The first season starred John Astin as the skipper of the submarine, as well as Jamie Lee Curtis, the daughter of Tony Curtis, who had starred in the 1959 film.
