Rosa María Restrepo (Mónica Gómez) and Alex Montoya (Sebastián Martínez) are young couples from the coffee tree and live with their son Michael (Sebastián Parada) in the farm of Nazario Restrepo (Carlos Benjumea), father of Rosa María, located in the rural area of Filandia. In the farm Nazario lives also with his wife Magnolia (Alejandra Borrero) and his grandchildren Pacho (Javier Ramírez) and Juanita (Ana María Estupiñán), whose mother Cecilia (Valentina Rendon), sister of Rosa Maria, has recently emigrated to New York in search of employment after having divorced Aurelio (Juan Pablo Franco), father of her children.
