November 2004. The young photo journalist Javier (Nicolás Coronado) receives a suggestion from the press agency in which he works: travel by covering the war from Iraq to Faluya, where the bloodiest battles of the conflict are being fought. Javier accepts, and must undertake a trip in a few days, on December 30. Before leaving, he decides to communicate his decision to his family and girlfriend (Andrea Duro) in Nochebuena. The news manages to break the family foundations. The life and relationships of all its members, who will travel to their own personal hells, will be changed forever.
