The carnivorous crisis is a 2008 Spanish animated film directed by Pedro Rivero and starred by Enrique San Francisco. It was the first film made in flash animation. Its total budget is just a million and a half euros. There is also a comic of the same name, edited by Norma Editorial in October 2005, with the subtitle "Tomo 1. Las Altas Colinas" narrating the context in which the film takes place in a precocious way. The script is written by Pedro Rivero and Egoitz Moreno and the design to Kepa de Orbe and Gorka Aranburu. The film was classified R by "generalized obscene language and raw sexual humor, and for some violent images" by the Spanish Film Association.
