Sándor Mátyás is a six-chapter Hungarian-Italian-French-RFA television film series, based on the same novel by Julio Verne. The recordings were shot in Italy. The adaptation of the novel of the film was made in 1963 in a Franco-Spanish-Italian co-production (directed by Georges Lampin), but it did not comply with the original concept of the novel, for example, at the end of the film, Hungarians do not get it and the movement of Mátyás Sándor is settled.
