She began her career in the final years of the dictatorship and is considered one of the museums of the Spanish Transition. During the 1980s, she starred in some of the most significant films of Spanish cinema as Assignature was nominated for an Oscar for the best foreign film. Television and theatre have been the focus of her work since the 1990s.
