Plot.
Pierre Leprieur was born in Havre, with oil and salt in his blood. Man of all fights, he became by his political and union commitment a respected figure among the dockers. But on the evening of his 60 years, when his loved ones are gathered for his birthday, everything collapses. His younger son, Simon, is stopped driving a car that his brother Jean, dealer, lent him for the evening. A kilo of cocaine is found in the chassis.
