Plot.
Since the era changed from Edo to Meiji, Japan has been changing rapidly with the current government's policy of modernization. Kyoto where Expo was being held. The government issued licenses to monsters that lived with humans. There was a company that arrested unregistered monsters to keep the peace. The name of the company is "Kido Shinsengumi Co. Ltd." Meanwhile, a young guy came back to Kyoto from Shanghai with his monster buddy, Nekomaru. He was Sakamoto Ryunosuke, the son of Sakamoto Ryoma.

Moeyo Ken, known in Japan as KidΕ Shinsengumi Moeyo Ken (Japanese: ζ©εζ°ζ°η΅ θγγε£), is a PS2 video game from 2002 about magical girl variants of Shinsengumi, a police force, and of Sakamoto Ryunosuke and his illegal companion, Nekomaru. The game was adapted into an OVA and a television series. Moeyo Ken was created by Hiroi Oji, creator of the Sakura Wars series, with character designs by Rumiko Takahashi, the creator of Urusei Yatsura, Ranma Β½ and Inuyasha.
ADV Films licensed it effective September 25, 2006, for $43,335.
