The Instit is a French-Swiss television series in 46 90-minute episodes created by Pierre Grimbalt (producer) and Didier Cohen (writer) and broadcasted from 17 February 1993 to 26 January 2005 on France 2. Since 2008, the series has been regularly re-released on Gulli, Téva and France 3 channels as in 2005 on TMC. From 2019 onwards, the series is also re-released on a dedicated YouTube channel.
