The Gone is a joint New Zealand-Irish crime drama television series. The first season of six episodes was broadcast from 7 May 2023 on New Zealand's TVNZ. It was directed by Peter Burger and Hannah Quinn, with scripts written by Anna McPartlin and Michael Bennet. It stars Richard Flood, as Irish detective Theo, who joins Acushla-Tara Kupe as detective sergeant Diana, who investigate the disappearance of an Irish couple. Irish journalist Aileen (Carolyn Bracken) reports on the situation. A second season of four episodes followed in 2024. When Aileen has gone missing, Theo and Diana lead the search.
